Just in case anyone is considering taking thier yacht under the Tea gardens Hawkes nest Bridge en-route to the Myall River/ Lakes. I did it recently when the tide was almost at its peak on a flooding tide and the wind vane on top of the mast just scraped the concrete. The chart states a height of 10.5m, I measured my mast at the same. When I returned I allowed about 10cm of oysters to be seen on the concrete column and breezed it in. Only went to Tea Gardens for lunch, hope to push up the Myall on a flood tide and get into the Lakes.
