| Tarni 2, BBYC's notorious E24 is having a great time sailing twilights, Australia Day and Endeavour regatta's. But we are lonely and looking for new playmates. We are having a great time, sailing faster every race and achieving personal bests. The E24 is the cheapest and best way to get into sailing. Tarni's crew would love to see more E24's sailing with us at BBYC. |

I can't help you :(, sorry. My E27 is feeling lonely and neglected up in Townsville.
Hope you folks are having better sailing weather down there than we have had up here over the past six months. |

| BBYC has another E24 now sailing with Tarni in our twilights. With a 3rd and perhaps 4th E24 joining us soon, we are having a fantastic time. Great to see so many girlfriends and wives taking part as well. We should be able to put together a great fleet for GSC nationals next year. |

| Tarni 2 continues to improve all the time thanks to a great crew. If they can start with the rest of the fleet rather than 6 weeks late, we might start to win a few more. But Tarni doesnt trust 40 foot gin palaces with skippers who dont wear pants! (No names WB), so she gives them a wide berth. Great news is BBYC has another regular E24 racing in twilights. Love to see more join us for teh winter series. |

| Tarni wil be there if we can get enough notice of dates and detail of Gosford. The earlier the better for many of us as we need to organise work committments. I hope we can get a few 24's involved. |

BBYC completed its last twilight for 2010/11. The series saw a few new faces and boats become regular participants. Our numbers were 12 to 17 boats each week. Great fun, great friends and the best way to end the working week. The crew of Tarni 2 managed to end the season with a 3rd on handicap. After years of finishing 17th out of 22 boats for the series, this year saw our personal best with a respectable 8th! Great crew, great boat, great fun. Many thanks from the cast and crew of Tarni to the volunteers @ BBYC such as twiggy, Gary and Nick. Well done. |

| First race of 2011/12 season last weekend and the crew of Tarni 2 did our best effort yet! Nasty headwinds, choppy seas and a long windward leg which would have seen us retire only a few months ago, now encourage us to press on and ride the tail coat of the fleet. Being the smallest boat in the race, we pushed our way around the course with Bosun Terry and Admiral Dorothy putting in a huge effort. We stayed with the fleet the entire course and if not for it being a practice race, Im sure we would have finished near the top on handicap. A big thanks to Col, Warren, Brian and the crews from BBYC who gave us great encouragement and support on our day's efforts. All this and we didnt smell any kerro, run up on shallow banks and understood the instructions from the great volunteers of starters. Thanks for organising. Ahhhhhh...the serenity. |

G'day all from sunny Queensland! Just wondering if there are many E24's used primarily for cruising? I notice most of you on here race your boats, and that is understandable but I am a cruising sailor and would love to catch up with any of you who use your Endeavours for the same. I am based out of Scarborough on the Redcliffe peninsula in Moreton Bay, QLD. E24 "Birinda" |

| Hi sea wulf. I mainly use Tarni as a cruiser and have set her up with beds, galley, head and other comforts. ( as much as you can fit in a 24ft boat!) We take part in the occasional race with BBYC including the fun twilights. Tarni is set up for comfort rather than speed. |

G'day John and many thanks for your reply. I've seen a few good fitouts in the gallery and that E28... wow! Amazing what can be done with intelligent use of the space. My intention is to make Birinda a very comfortable family boat, but I can see we'll need a bigger one before long. May keep my eye out for an E30, although I believe they are pretty rare. Do you have any photos uploaded of the interior of Tarni? |

| I have a few pictures. I'll try again to get them posted in the site. I feel the same as you. The 24 is great but would prefer a 30'. People want too much $$$ for a 40 year old boat. Ill be sticking with the 24 for a little while yet. Easy to maintain, minimum paint, and you can do it all by yourself. Cant have as much fun for so little!!! |

Aye, too true! After all, we are enjoying the same sunset and views as the people on the $200K stunner anchored next to us! And we don't have their maintenance expenses! WIN!!! |

Gauntlet has been thrown!!!!!!!! Who dares to take on Tarni 2 & her talented, attractive, witty, intelligent and very modest crew. We are calling all E24 sailors out. Even the darlings of the 24 world, Dumaresq ..the gleaming white male model of the Endeavour classes, to meet us in January at GSC if you dare. Bring it on baby.......he he |
