Afloat Magazine, has an advert for an american antifoul call Sea Hawk has any one tried it or know anything about it , im not about make a change from Altec no5 but would like to keep abrest of the situation .
While im asking questions i would like to know if anyone has replaced their sheet winches with Australian made Arco winches and if so what they think of them .
I have been contemplating buying new winches for some time and when i saw the Arco's at the boat show i thought they looked very well built, they offered to trade my old Barlows and give a very good warranty .
I was just about convinced to buy the Arco's when looking at the american made product the salesman slamed our local product which has put me off buying till i can find out more information . E H my partner concurred with May West .
Cheers tony

Hay there Tony,
At this time our old skipper Rodney Childs is proped up like King Korook in the private section at the Royal North Shore Hospital. We will not be allowed out to play until Friday, tomorrow, he hopes and is itching to go down and play on the Hagar. Unfortunatly I'm tied up this weekend with my grandson's first birthday.
Rod has apparently been poisoned by the same hospital the previous week.
With regards to the US paint, I've not seen the advertisement but we have been very happy with the Altec soft paint on the Hagar which we have been using for at least six years now and as we get better at treating the iron keel and other metal underwater fixtures the better the boat comes out of the water after twelve months.
Chris.
