OHHH, It's great to be wanted!!!??? Dontweknow!! Sorry for the delay in the re-turn abuse but have been rather busy with work and family, as She Who Must Be Obeyed is OS visiting our eldest daughter. And Eric, I've been asked not to antagonise you too much because you could have a caniption and keel over. Bit like a blow down which some had up at Lake Macquarie. But of course, not the mighty Hagar! So you just let us know when you've had too much taunting. Stewart, will you be coming out to play on Sunday? The chimney skipper is away playing wars and we will be scratching for a crew. But, hay!! whose making excuses? What's the score?, three wins from three starts? I suppose that all your whinging will get you a few more minutes off the handicapper? See you Sunday. Chris. |

Three from three your dreaming, you've only won two races this whole year. You sound like your at the nationals with your mixed fleet of three boats.
We will be there, no point winging about the handicap we know it makes no difference. |

This coming race at North Harbour SC on Sunday is shaping up to be a good one with all the sniping and Bar talk. Surely the Dumeresq must win this one with their inflated handicap and the Hagar only being steered by a foward hand as Skipper Childs saves the nation playing wars? Dontweknow? No more excuses now Stewart or tear before bedtime! Chris. |

Eric you should be sailing at North Harbour. You would be right at home with the rest of the comedians, dontweknow???!!!! Have you been sailing recently and how is Gosford doing? Will the next nationals be on up you way? If we are could we have a quiet little sailors drinking bar downstairs away from all the poker machines and social riff raff it would be nice. Chris. |

| Rob, Sounds good but i think the park area is a council designated alcohol free area ,if you go west of the clubhouse you will be in tke water or on the marina, good to hear from you ,its a change from ( friendly )arguing with that tug boat sailor from manly whose name escapes me EH |

Last night saw a very light easterly breeze and for some inexplicable reason the brains trust of MYC selected a NNE course. And so we had a slow parade. We jybed once and tacked twice. We were run down by the big back marker yachts by the bottom jybe mark and spent the last slow reach reeling in the bulk of the fleet to eventually pass three yachts. It was a nice evening but not enough pressure for the heavy Hagar. Chris. |

Sunday's race at North Harbour saw very light and shifty easterly puffs on Sydney Harbour and after a bit of healthy taunting last week Stewart bought out all the gun sailors, with the exception of that Master of the E24's, John, The NEW MASTER, and after giving the bottom of the Dumersqe a good scrubbing went forth and gave the fleet a good shellacking in the light conditions. Analysis of our performance? We missed Rodney and his pipe! Yes, ever since Rod gave up his beloved chimney stack and moved onto the bunger's we have been under preforming. And so we will be requesting that he return to the smoke torture as well as the usual beatings in an effort to lift the flagging spirits and performances of the Hagar. A review of our Friday nights' results saw us about one third of the way through the fleet of the Friday night yachts. Chris. |

Not to sure what you mean by all the guns, we sail with the same crew every week. John was there too it's just that you were so far behind you failed to see him.
The new MASTER has now been christened ELVIS (The King).
You seem to omitted the parts of the race where you went the wrong way and sailed into holes but, I guess that's normal banter from the boat with no speed. |

This Friday night sees the Hagar at it again as we work on our handicap. Last week saw us get back to minutes and so we will be going off at 6.25pm. Always looking for crew members. Chris. |

Thanks Stuart, we have 9 or 11 starters depending on who you believe. Weather in the low 30's, 15kts predicted, should be perfect. Two 24's now have forwrd tracks for their Etchell jibs, it will catch on. I'll shut up now, before Copey has a go at me for prattling on about 24's on his 30 thread. Rob |
