For those who have never had the pleasure of sailing one of these rare little boats let me tell you of my memories.
Old Doc Hearne - a founding member of BBYC used to have a E19, I guess we (his son John and I) were about 11 years old.
The days we spent out on that boat, first in Kogarah Bay and later into day trips out to the heads and back were unreal.
The 19 sailed beautifully and we tested her in all sorts of breeze! Beating upchannel in a howling southerly with a storm jib and main (off the Manly Junior) was, I think what got me hooked on Endeavours in general - virtually indestructable.
In moderate winds with the shy spinnaker up we used to give the Saturday fleet of 24's (they were only new then) and Primates a run for their money.
A truly safe and forgiving boat. If you own one I'm sure it won't be long until you step up to a larger boat. I'll bet it will also be an Endeavour!

Colin Cole

PS. I am going to place these little pearls of wisdom from time to time! How about you do the same.

There are yachts out there and look like Endeavours Gee, they look like it, But what are they ??
Has anybody got Photo's, not one just give us a few,
They look good, but I was not sure whether they were Endeavours ?.
