Can anyone tell me if the 23 had a lifting keel as a standard spec? Or were they all built with a fixed keel.

Hi Stuart,
The E23 is a shoal draft design with a swing keel. It is described in the Endeavour Blue Book.
It looks very much like a Cole 23.

Thanks Adrian, My dad is looking at buying one to sail on the Noosa river, the river these days is very shallow and you need a swing or lifting keel at times.
