Hullo there to you Luke and welcome to the Endeavour Forum, Please don't be backward in asking questions and looking for help. We are always working on our E30, the Hagar IV and there are a few other E30's still racing but most are now cruisers. It is good to hear that the Sundance has fallen into safe hands and I hope that you have many years of pleasure from her.
I like your photos and could you post some of the interior?
My three owner/partners and myself are now well into a major maintenance program on the Hagar and are spending at least a half a day per week working on her. We have had the Hagar for several years and while she is well set up to race she does need a lot of TLC and we made the decision to re-paint and try to make her look as new as possible for next years 50th Endeavour Regatta to be held at Botany Bay. While to may not be possible for you to sail your Sundance down to Botany Bay, you may wish to visit the Regatta and possibly get onto a yacht for some Endeavour Racing.
Regards, Chris Cope |

Hi Chris,
I have added some more photos to my dropbox folder. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zzqwljsotlp16rh/AADEkhkCkpPc1uiyUE55Vwhua
Current projects for me are: 1.) Buy and install a composting head
Currently have a electric toilet and holding tank. Which is great, although the pipes get blocked every 4 months which I am sick of. As I live on her full time it gets extra use, light at that.
2.) Make a cover for my new engine bay.
I have recently installed a beta20. Last motor got water logged. You will notice my extreme water to exhaust system I made. I never want a water logged engine again. If you have any ideas/improvements please share.
3.) Re thread the bimini
4.) Replace the copper loom with tin wire
5.) Paint the deck
6.) Antifoul
Have you got any photos of you 30?
When is the 50th regatta?

Hi there Luke, Have not heard from you in some time and have been busy with the normal things of Work, Family, home as well as the re-conditioning of the Hagar. Yes we have a load of photos of the Hagar, email me directly and I will forward a stack of photos. I cannot load photos onto this web. We do not have a holding tank on the Hagar and normally do not use the head. Yes we always have problems and will be replacing the pipes and possibly the complete toilet at the next slipping. All the details on the 50th Nationals are on the front of the web page. Regards, Chris Cope. |

Hi there Luke, Good to hear from you and hope that the Sundance is going well. I will try and send you some photos tomorrow from my office at work where all of my photos are stashed. If you are ever in Sydney let us know and we will try and do a catch-up and you can come for a sail aboard the Hagar on Sydney Harbour and maybe participate in a race. Regards, Chris Cope |
